About Us

About Skylicence Europe

We are building the most effective study platform for EASA Part-66 module exams — combining AI technology with real aviation expertise to help European certifying staff earn their EASA Part-66 licence with confidence.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple: help every European certifying staff member (AME) pass their EASA Part-66 module exams on the first attempt. We believe that studying for the Aircraft Maintenance Licence should not be a guessing game. Too many candidates walk into the exam room unprepared — not because they lack the ability, but because they lack access to study tools that reflect the real exam experience.

Traditional study materials for the EASA Part-66 module exams are outdated, difficult to navigate, and rarely provide the depth of practice needed to build genuine confidence. Textbooks are dense, question banks are scarce, and the Part-66 syllabus (Appendix I) can feel overwhelming without a structured approach. We set out to change that by building a platform that adapts to each student's learning pace, identifies weak areas, and delivers targeted practice where it matters most.

At the heart of our mission is a commitment to aviation safety. Every certifying staff member who earns their Part-66 licence and certifies an aircraft for return to service is responsible for the safety of passengers and crew. By ensuring that Part-66 candidates are thoroughly prepared, we are contributing to a safer aviation industry in Europe and beyond.

Our Platform

Skylicence Europe is not a generic flashcard app. It is a purpose-built AI-powered study platform engineered from the ground up around the EASA Part-66 syllabus — Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014, Appendix I and Appendix II. Every question, every explanation, and every algorithm is designed to mirror the actual module exam experience.

Our question bank contains over 4,000 AI-generated and expert-reviewed questions covering the 17 basic-knowledge modules (M1 Mathematics to M17 Propeller) across all 8 licence categories (A, B1.1–B1.4, B2, B3). Each question is tagged by module, subject area, difficulty level, and specific Part-66 reference — making it easy for certifying staff to target their weakest areas.

Adaptive AI Difficulty

The AI adjusts question difficulty in real time based on your performance. Master a topic and the system challenges you harder; struggle and it provides more foundational practice. This ensures efficient, targeted study sessions.

Real Exam Simulations

Timed practice exams replicate the actual EASA module exam environment — question counts and time limits follow Appendix II of Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014, all at the official 75% pass mark. Build speed and confidence before the real exam with formats, timing, and difficulty levels that match the official standards.

AI Tutor

Get instant, plain-language explanations of complex topics. Ask questions naturally and receive exam-focused answers that reference the Part-66 syllabus, AMC/GM guidance material, and EASA regulations.

Progress Analytics

Detailed analytics show your performance across every test and subject area. Track accuracy by topic, monitor difficulty progression, and review your exam history — always know exactly where you stand.

Chuck Onekeo

Programmer & AI Specialist — Founder of Skylicence Europe

Chuck Onekeo is a programmer and AI specialist with deep experience building intelligent systems for technical education. Frustrated by the lack of modern, adaptive study tools available to Part-66 candidates, Chuck decided to build the platform he wished had existed when studying for technical certifications.

Combining expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and full-stack development, Chuck architected Skylicence Europe from the ground up as an adaptive learning system tailored specifically to the EASA Part-66 requirements. The platform's AI engine dynamically adjusts question difficulty, generates contextual explanations, and provides personalized study recommendations based on individual performance patterns.

Chuck's vision for Skylicence Europe extends beyond just helping candidates pass exams. He believes that well-prepared Part-66 certifying staff make aviation safer for everyone, and that technology — specifically AI — has the power to dramatically improve how technical professionals prepare for high-stakes certification exams.

Why We Built This

The journey to earning an EASA Part-66 licence is demanding. Candidates must pass the module exams set out in Appendix II — each with a 75% pass mark — following basic training at a Part-147 approved training organisation, and have their experience assessed by their national aviation authority (CAA, DGAC, LBA, ENAC...) before the licence is issued. Despite the high stakes, most candidates rely on outdated textbooks, scattered PDFs, and word-of-mouth advice to prepare.

We saw a gap that technology could fill. The same AI techniques that power recommendation systems, language models, and adaptive tutoring platforms could be applied to aviation exam preparation — and the result is a study experience that is more efficient, more engaging, and more effective than anything else available to Part-66 candidates today.

Key problems we set out to solve:

  • Scarcity of practice questions — Most candidates report that finding enough realistic practice questions is their biggest challenge. We built a 4,000+ question bank that covers the full Part-66 syllabus (Appendix I).
  • One-size-fits-all study materials — Every student learns differently. Our adaptive AI tailors the difficulty and focus of each study session to the individual's performance.
  • No exam simulation tools — Candidates need timed, realistic practice to build confidence. Our exam mode replicates the actual EASA module exam environment — format, question counts, and time limits per Appendix II.
  • Lack of progress visibility — Without analytics, students don't know where to focus. Our platform provides detailed performance metrics across every test and subject area.
  • No mobile study options — Certifying staff are busy. Skylicence Europe is available on mobile, tablet, and desktop so you can study anytime, anywhere.
